Carla was educated at the University of the Nations in Kailua-Kona Hawaii.  She graduated in May 2004 with a certificate of photography and returned to her home town, Orangeville Ontario.  She is certified with CPI and PCA International as a Master Photographer with more than five years of studio photography.  Carla worked for more than three years training other photographers in the art of portrait photography, winning multiple awards for her work and the recognition of her superiors.

Carla works freelance for local papers "Orangeville Banner" and My Dufferin, as well as a quarterly magazine "Sideroads of Dufferin County", and North of the City magazine.  She also freelances for Being Well Magazine in York Region.

Carla has become sought after and has been flown around the world to shoot weddings.  Her most recent trips include California, Northern Ireland and Wales.
